The main (and to my knowledge, only as [ ...More ] of now) vet there, David W. Saylor (stocky white male with glasses, approximately 70 years old), is by far the worst vet I've ever been to. He was extremely rough with the treatment of my dog, along with being very rude and obnoxious. He showed no sensitivity toward me or the condition of my dog whatsoever. At times he was downright belligerent; he snapped at me for asking simple questions (he was literally yelling at me at one point). He attempted to bully me into putting my dog under anesthesia to have her teeth cleaned, despite the fact that she was 15+ years old and in less than stellar health. He also charged me for several services without prompting me. He was an absolute nightmare to deal with.
I have learned from other vets in the area that this vet has an EXTREMELY negative reputation, and has caused several disgruntled customers to look elsewhere for the treatment of their pets. The parking lot of the clinic is usually empty these days, which should be a pretty good sign of how customers and their pets are treated there.  Mmm-mmmm, I do loves me some barbeque! Ever since my favorite BBQ joint in town closed [ ...More ] (Jaybirds BBQ in North Lakeland - may God rest its juicy soul), I've had to shop around for a replacement, and Rib Crib is my new digs :)
They've got all the variety you could ever want (including a pick-your-meat platter builder) and in a variety of styles. If you like spicy sandwiches, don't miss out on the Crib-wich, their signature brisket hot-links sandwich - very good.
They also offer fried shrimp for some reason. But before you turn your nose up, give them a try - they're pretty good, even for a BBQ restaurant.

FALSE info in the review
 I will give my clinic 5 stars because that is what my clients tell me it is, [ ...More ] so I will trust them! Read other sites to see other opinions.
I do not generally respond to "reviews", but I will say that the review about the ear crops is completely false. My "nurse" (Vet Tech) does NOT do the surgery for ear crops. She draws them for my Vet because she has shown pits and is very familiar with how their ear shapes fit their body types.
In the one a half years that I have had this business, I have not received even ONE complaint about the crops we have done...and we have done many of them. If there had been a problem, my Vet would have addressed it and made it right at the time. I have just seen this review, but even now, I would appreciate a call from the dissatisfied client and a chance to see the pit now.
Although I hate to think someone would do this, the review sounds as if it came from a competitor.
Our prices are good because we are not paying for a new building and we pass that on to our clients. Our target is to help those who need it and provide excellent service. We have a wonderful Veterinarian who is honest with the clients and we work within their means. How can that be a bad thing?
